Common Sense senator, Ben Murray-Bruce has taken a drastic decision over the move by the Senate to buy 36 SUV vehicles in this harsh economic situation.
The senator representing Bayelsa East senatorial district, Ben Murray-Bruce, on Wednesday said he would not accept any SUV from the Senate. He made this public in tweet posted on his Twitter account.
He said, ”For the avoidance of doubt, I did not and will not accept any SUV. The only SUV, I, Ben Murray-Bruce will accept is a made in Nigeria car.”
He was tackled squarely by many who said the point should not be about where the SUV is made.
