Real Madrid have rejected Manchester United bid for Alvaro Morata - The Spanish club want more money before they can allow the Spaniard to leave - Morata has been a major target for United boss Jose Mourinho since last season Premier League giants Manchester United have been hit with a major blow after having their mega million bid for Spanish international Alvaro Morata rejected by Real Madrid.
Jose Mourinho's side tabled a mouthwatering amount of £70 million to lure the superstar to Old Trafford this summer. But the Spanish and European League champions have turned their backs to the money with the club's president reportedly asking for additional sum of £9 million for Morata to leave Spain.
Morata, 24, is currently on honeymoon having married his sweetheart and has also signified his interest in joining Manchester United.
